The course we are presenting shows the situation of the national panorama in relation to the knowledge and management of risks and emergency situations on Cultural Heritage.<\/p>\n
In this sense, ICOMOS-Spain, the Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife and the National Plan for Emergencies and Risk Management in Cultural Heritage (PNEGR), aware of the need for the development and implementation of Safeguarding Plans in cultural institutions as a fundamental instrument for the protection and rescue of assets affected by emergency situations, are organising this summer course with the aim of training those agents involved in developing and implementing measures, protocols and strategies aimed at prevention and immediate action in emergency situations that could affect Cultural Heritage, is organising this summer course with the aim of training those agents involved in developing and implementing measures, protocols and strategies aimed at prevention and immediate action in emergency contexts that could affect Cultural Heritage.<\/p>\n
Safeguarding plans are focused on analysing threats, assessing vulnerabilities, designing preventive actions and responding to risk situations that a cultural institution guarding and\/or exhibiting cultural property has to face, whatever their causes and nature.<\/p>\n\n\n
