International frameworks and programmes for disaster risk reduction that emphasize the need to develop and implement measures to reduce hazard exposure and vulnerability to disasters clearly recognize the importance of cultural heritage and its irreplaceable value for society. Despite this awareness, heritage is increasingly vulnerable to disasters caused by natural and human hazards, including climate change effects which create additional challenges by exacerbating the frequency and intensity of certain hydro-meteorological hazards.
Forensic Architecture (FA) is a research agency based at Goldsmiths, University of London. Its mandate is to develop, employ, and disseminate new techniques, methods, and concepts for investigating state and corporate violence. Its team includes architects, software developers, filmmakers, investigative journalists, scientists, and lawyers. It is an interdisciplinary agency operating across human rights, journalism, architecture, art and aesthetics, academia, and the law.

The National Floodplain Mapping System (SNCZI) is an instrument to support the management of river space, risk prevention, territorial planning and administrative transparency.the central axis of the SNCZI is the floodplain mapping viewer, which allows all interested parties to view the delimitation studies of the Public Hydraulic Domain (DPH) and the floodplain mapping studies, prepared by the Ministry and those contributed by the Autonomous Communities.
Information viewer on the cultural, historical, artistic and archaeological heritage of the province of Pontevedra, consisting of a selection of heritage elements according to criteria of uniqueness and representativeness within the set of local heritage. The aim of this selection is to identify a set of homogeneous elements in number for each municipality. More than 400 heritage elements are represented.
