The National University of Colombia, Manizales Campus, the Manizales University System (SUMA) and the Colombian Society for Disaster Risk Management (SCGRD) invite to the III Inter-American Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation.

The III Inter-American Conference, a prelude to the world conferences of Yokohama, Hyogo and Sendai, will be developed as a mid-term reflection event on the state of the art in disaster risk, climate change and sustainability, for which professors, researchers and university students, community leaders, consultants, officials from different sectors and professionals from the Americas are invited to share knowledge and experiences, as well as the different entities, networks, organizations and international agencies to hold their own events and collateral meetings on the occasion of the conference.
