D. in 2011 with a research on the relationship between Risk Management and Human Rights and its implications in Disaster Risk Reduction. Geologist (UCM 1989) and Bachelor in Criminology (UA 2011), Master in Geological Engineering (UCM 2000-2003) and Expert in Multilateral Cooperation for Human Development, (UNIA 2008). Prof.ª to TP to the UPO in 2001, PDI to TC with permanent link since 2006. Academic Director of several postgraduate courses in environmental and natural risk management and PI of several projects. 15 years of experience (1989-2004) as a geologist applied to Civil Engineering and Environment for civil engineering companies and administrations. Field experience in Development Cooperation projects since 1992, in several countries, in damage assessment after emergencies due to natural disasters, among other topics. Regularly participates in international forums of the United Nations and the EU. Tutor and International Jury of PhD at the University of Nariño (Colombia 2013-17). First prize in the VI National Award for Civil Protection and Emergencies (2007 MIR. Government of Spain).
